  • Flexible date options as 26-Dec-09 or 2 6 1 2 0 9 in the boxes or print with no date.

  • Name and Word section should auto-wrap to accommodate very long sentence.
  • Name and Word section should have the option for small, medium or large font and in the following format "all small caps", "all big caps" or "Proper" using simple mouse-click. This is very important as it will capture extremely long names and amount in words.

  • Print cheques in Normal straight text or in Italic.

Printer Requirements

  • The Cheque Writer must be able to print cheques on most common printers.

Licencing Issues

  • Should be a one time competitive payment only.
  • No monthly / yearly maintenance or trailing fees.
  • Legally ok to be installed in more than one PC in the same office.

What to avoid when using a Cheque Writer?

  • Do not use the batch printing feature (if available) this can cause you more headache than convenience. All it takes is one cheque stuck in the printer and you will have to do a major re-sequencing of your cheques.
  • Avoid using network printers unless you are absolutely sure that you are the only person sending the print. You may loose one or more cheques if others send a print immediately after you have loaded your cheques.

Advantages of using a Cheque Writer software versus a Mechanical or Electronic version.

  • Cheaper and no maintenance is required.
  • Maintain a history of all cheques issued or cheques received.
  • No replacement required. You only need to reinstall if you reformat your PC.
